Jack Clemons said on May 15th in a post on the NTL Magazine blog on tetherballnews.com that 2015 would be his last season. After he lost to Grant yesterday, he played one last game against Logan Blank (which he won), he walked off the court to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Jack was drafted with the 7th pick in the draft by Hoffman Enterprises. In 2009 he made it to the final but only to be beat by Sean Bursek. The next season the same thing happened again with Sean winning. In 2011 he was robbed by a conversational call resulting in a Denver win. He would lose the series and take 3rd place.
The next year he lost to Adonis in the final 2-1 despite being first in Starter rating with 114.24. Then in 2013 he beat his apprentice Terence Sinn 2-1 to finally win the championship. After he said,” The wait was worth it.” In 2014 Jack was slowed down with injures. He would finish a career low 10th place. In 2015 Jack was 21-9 only good for the 14th seed. He lost to Grant in the first round 2-1 and bowed out.
